I once went out on a date with a guy named John who wanted me to call him Spoon. That was the end of that.

maybe Spoon was better than Fork? I just can't figure out why ANYONE would want to be called Spoon. This is one of those "Reasons" where I want more information!!!! ;-)

"When we die, if you as an atheist were right, then there is no upside or downside for anyone regarding the afterlife. We will all simply cease to exist

However if we Christians were right about our belief in the afterlife, then we will be given eternal life and you as an atheist will receive eternal damnation

Given the choices, the position held by an atheist is a fools bet any way you look at it because the atheist has everything to lose and nothing to gain."

How it delights me to point out that your faith is no faith. It is a bargain. As you point out in your charmingly written argument, you are Christian because it is safer, not because of any faith in Christ.

How spiritual . :-D

It is my humble opinion that Atheists have more faith in their faithlessness than you do in your faith. They don't seem to feel the need to be 'safe', they are just happily, faithfully faithless.
